The breakout H-RPG hit Odyssey of Gianna gets a major expansion!
Venture Forth adds the following to the already-expansive Gianna experience:
- A brand new party member with a unique base class, interactions, and more!
- Three new major areas to explore: the Mage's University of Gianna, the island nation of Valua, and the Dwarf-ruled Northern Underground!
- Three new major dungeons with new enemies and bosses!
- 11 new status conditions, ranging from intriguing elemental infusions like Balloon and Overload to humiliating new status-classes like the Fellaccia!
- New Bad End cutscenes and a new Final End route to end the odyssey on a high note!
- New Team Chat feature! As you explore, your party members will have short scenes together, making them feel more vibrant than ever!

Where is the green orb and how do I get it? I suspect it's in the fish port museum in the hole there, but when I interact, nothing happens. I'm stuck on this. Can someone help me?

I would love the steam achievement to be incorporated directly in the game or the next game you make like the status journal and the others journals (maybe i missed it and didn't see it).

I was still early in the game with only 5 characters when I heard about this. I was going to finish the base game before I get this dlc. I just installed it and my save files which I spent 60 more hours on became outdated with an instability warning.. Because it's an expansion I thought it would be added to the end of the base game content.
If I knew about this, I would have bought this right away and restarted my progress. I didn't see any warnings about save file incompatibility on this page.
This is probably my favorite fetish game of all time, so I'm happy to replay the game from the start. Maybe it's better that I played it the way I did.. My next run will be much more interesting with the expansion, after all.
I'm absolutely dying to know what your next masterpiece is gonna be! I wish for Odyssey of Gianna to go on endlessly.

I need help completing the Mage University dungeon. I obtained the Grimoire but cannot find which tile to interact with

Hidden dungeon in the magic academy, you can access it by talking 2 or 3 times to the professor who sell magic books, she will tell you to investigate something.
Any updates on the Steam version? The last we heard was it was likely going to be the first week of May but that's long past now.
I do not know how to fix a member from a wine tap. The journal says “the subject's associated magitek panel” but I have no idea of that.
From the room with the winetaps, there is another room all the way to the right. In there you need to interact with two objects (there is a hint as to which ones elsewhere in the villa) to unlock another secret room. In there is where you can rescue any party members.
Hey, I am getting a black screen if I fight Giorgia in the secret room after I beat the other girl in that same room. I can open the menu but can't move or leave the room. Looks like a bug to me
Worked around that only by reloading a save until she went for the guard instead, then I discovered another bug: I couldn't move after the bed end until I teleported somewhere else (and the villa was reset, but not fully, the guard-key doors were still open so I just went to the harder option of the boss fight straight away)
Hello. I am trying to find the new party member and I think that she is in Villa da Vici. How do I free her and add her to my team?

Hey I think I've discovered a fairly big bug that has actually prevented me from progressing as of now.
Apparently, after the Villa infiltration, if you happen to save at one of the one-time-use restoration points, it puts the game back into the state of infiltrating and won't let you save on that file again.
This wouldn't be too big of an issue... if I wasn't a bit dumb and only used 1 save file. Since I did, and I saved over it with that one use point, I have broken the save feature and can't anymore. Great work with the whole rest of the game otherwise.
So good news on this actually. The bug I found isnt as big and disruptive as I originally though. As a hail mary i decided to see what getting a bad end would do, and it reset whatever trigger that was preventing me from saving and made everything go back to normal. So while this is a thing to maybe keep an eye on, it luckily wasnt nearly as disruptive as i initially thought.
The endless loop bug fixed in 4.1 does not seem to be fixed. :(
Ah well. Excellent game, I can wait.
Sorry about that! There were a few more cases of that I hadn't caught, but that bug should be completely fixed in the newest release, 1.3.

Yeah, sorry about that, DLSite wanted me to comply with Japanese censor laws and I did, but they rejected the game without telling me what image(s) didn't meet the requirements, so I was unable to update the game without that feedback. Apologies!
Steam version coming or can this be applied to the steam version?
I'm currently waiting on Valve's review process to complete but yes, it's coming to Steam! It can't be applied to the Steam data yet, however, as that version is on 3.5 instead of 4.0 currently.
I had actually come back here to talk about bugs I had found. But its been so long since I had purchased, I found that I'm a full version behind AND there's now DLC. Talk about a surprise. I'm choosing to believe that the bugs have been fixed, but I'll keep an eye out for them just in case.

No problem! I'll be honest, I should have known earlier that the DLC is out since the Runes of Pandemonium team promoted it on their devblog, and I follow that closely.
How do you extract the DLC to the main game
There should be instructions on the download page, but I'll copy and paste them:
TO INSTALL:
1. Download "Odyssey of Gianna Venture Forth.rar."
2. Use an archive manager program, such as WinRar to extract the files.
3. Extract to the "Odyssey of Gianna" folder. When asked to overwrite files, say YES to all of them.
4. Run "Odyssey of Gianna Launcher.exe" from that folder.
If the installation was successful, the title screen should have a new design and the game's window name should say "Odyssey of Gianna: Venture Forth" plus the version number and a letter representing your chosen difficulty setting. (It may show an incorrect name for a moment; wait and it should correct itself.)

quick question, given some of the new lore dropped in the new areas will this be updated with new content down the line?
Not exactly, RPG Maker is actually crashing under Gianna's weight, so the current plan is to take what would have been DLCs 2 and 3 and turn them into Odyssey of Gianna 2 eventually.

what about the DLC could even cause valve to not wanna put it on steam? lemme tell you, whatever it is, it can't be worse than some of the games that actually are up on steam, probably even now!
Nothing could be worse than this horrid mess that somehow steam allows to still be on there: View at your own peril!!
I mean, I had bought the game on steam, but I almost felt bad paying ten dollars? This game is worth more. So buying it again just to buy the DLC comes out to like 25 dollars total. I'm fine with paying that much for this game.

I wanted to make a DLC for this game but I didn't want to like jump into yet until I knew there was no DLC for the future. But now, as soon as this DLC comes out, I will be able to add this to the mod and really expand on it.
